A premium wine made from Merlot. As with the other wines in the Breg line, the grapes come from our highest, southwest-facing vineyards at 480 meters above sea level, at the foot of Mount Jastrebac. 

After harvest, the grapes are carefully selected and destemmed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature, with maceration lasting 15 to 21 days. The wine then ages for two years in French oak barrels and 12 months in bottles before release. 

A powerful yet elegant wine of deep purple color. It opens with aromas of black fruit and blueberry, leading into rich flavors of ripe plum, raspberry, and cedar, seamlessly integrated with hints of graphite, chocolate, and black pepper, and a delicate touch of vanilla in the background. This wine captivates with its freshness on the palate, emphasizing juicy fruit aromas. The finish is balanced, smooth, and refreshing, with flavors of cherry, silky tannins, and gentle texture. 

We recommend Doja Breg Merlot with roasted chicken or duck seasoned with herbs, various risottos, and roasted meats with spiced vegetables.
