Doja Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot
A well-known blend that combines the robust structure of Cabernet Sauvignon with the elegance and rich fruit of Merlot. The combination of good sun exposure and cool mountain breezes from Jastrebac, as well as the alternation of warm days and cool nights, ensures high anthocyanin levels, ripe tannins, and a harmonious balance of sugars and acids in the grapes. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks, with maceration lasting about seven days.
The wine then ages for eight to ten months in one-year-old American and French oak barrels. Notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, and cherry are complemented by silky, gentle tannins that coat the palate.
The balanced acidity creates harmony between red fruit aromas and soft tannins, making this wine exceptionally smooth and approachable.
Perfect with herb-seasoned pasta, semi-hard and hard cheeses, mushroom risotto, and roasted red meats.
