Doja Prokupac
Made from Serbia’s indigenous grape variety Prokupac. The significant temperature fluctuations between warm days and cool nights in autumn contribute to the development of ripe tannins and a rich aromatic profile.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature, with maceration lasting 15 to 20 days, depending on the vintage. The wine ages for one year in 500-liter Serbian oak barrels, followed by 12 months of bottle aging before release.
This ruby-red wine, with elegant texture framed by soft tannins and balanced acidity, delivers a sense of perfect harmony. Its fruit-forward character highlights aromas of cherry, blackberry, and plum, while subtle oak influence adds notes of clove. The palate is rich, rounded, and enveloping, with beautifully integrated tannins leading to a long, persistent finish. A wine that best represents the authenticity of the Toplica terroir — the symbol of our winery.
Pairs perfectly with traditional Serbian dishes made with grilled red meats, beef stew, and desserts such as chocolate mousse with fresh raspberries.
